What happens if my flight is cancelled?We can only assist if the tickets have been booked & issued by us. We will work with the airline to arrange an alternative flight for you. If necessary, we can also assist with adjusting your other travel arrangements, however, these could be subject to costs. You would need to contact your insurance provider.

What type of clothing is best for a trip to East Africa?Cotton clothing works best in Africa. During the daytime, shorts and tee shirts or polo shirts are recommended. For the evening, long-sleeved shirts/blouses and trousers/slacks are ideal. It's also advisable to bring a jacket for early morning and late afternoon game viewing drives, a hat for shade from the African sun, and a pair of sunglasses.

How much spending money will I need on a safari?You will need very little spending money on most safaris as the majority of meals and activities are included in your itinerary. You only need to pay for extras like beverages, laundry, telephone calls, additional sightseeing, or deviation from the itinerary etc.

What are the luggage restrictions for a safari?Your luggage is restricted to one bag not exceeding 15kgs and 65x46 cm. Hard Case Suitcases are unsuitable for our type of safaris and we recommend soft side duffels or rollaway bags.

What is the Safari Code?The Safari Code includes respecting the privacy of the wildlife, not crowding the animals or making sudden noises or movements, not feeding the animals, keeping quiet, staying in your vehicle at all times, except at designated picnic or walking areas, keeping below the maximum speed limit (40 kph/25 mph), never driving off-road, leaving no litter and never lighting fires or discarding burning objects, and respecting the cultural heritage of Kenya. Kenyan National Parks are plastic-free zones & we recommend you carry a refillable water bottle with you.
