Who it suits
Oceania builds small on purpose. No ship in the fleet carries more than 1,250 guests, and everything else the line claims follows from that number: a kitchen that can cook to order for a dining room that size, and a day with nothing in it you have to queue for. Their own word for the pace is gracious: no rush, no crowds, no lines.
The food is the pitch, and they do not pretend otherwise. Two Master Chefs of France, Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, run the kitchens across the fleet. Four ships, Marina, Riviera, Vista and Allura, also carry a cooking school and an Artist Loft with an artist in residence, so a sea day can be a class rather than a deckchair. The other four do not, which is worth knowing before you choose.
The fleet
Eight ships: Regatta, Insignia, Nautica, Sirena, Marina, Riviera, Vista and Allura. Vista and Allura are the new pair, 1,200 guests each. Marina and Riviera take 1,250 and are the epicurean ships: wine-pairing dinners at La Reserve, a private dining room at Privée, a Lalique staircase down the middle of it.
Where they sail
The 2027–2028 collection runs to more than 230 voyages, and the regions on it are the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, the South Pacific and Alaska. Across the programme the line counts around 600 cities.
Oceania is one of the lines bookable straight through our own cruise site: the full fleet, every sailing and live availability sit at cruises.co.ke/oceania-cruises. Tell us the month and who is travelling, and we will build the flights and the nights either side around it from Nairobi.

Questions
Oceania Cruises, from Kenya
Can I book Oceania Cruises from Kenya?
Yes. Oceania Cruises is bookable live on our cruise site, cruises.co.ke, with cabin availability and card payment. Or sit down with a travel designer in Nairobi, who puts the flights, the hotel night before you sail and the transfer on the same quote.
Do you have special fares on Oceania Cruises?
Not on our current list: the 2026–28 special fares are with Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises and Princess Cruises. We quote Oceania Cruises to your dates instead, so tell us the month and the region and a travel designer comes back with what is open. See the specials we hold.
How big are Oceania Cruises ships?
Small on purpose: no ship in the fleet carries more than 1,250 guests. Vista and Allura take 1,200 each, Marina and Riviera 1,250. That number is what lets the kitchen cook to order and keeps the queues out of the day.
Who runs the kitchens on Oceania?
Jacques Pépin is the line’s executive culinary advisor and the founding father of its kitchens, and two Master Chefs of France, Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, run the kitchens across the fleet. Four of the ships also carry a cooking school.
Plan the rest of it
Almost every sailing starts with a flight, so we book the flights as well and quote both together. If you would rather not fly straight home afterwards, the ports on most itineraries sit within reach of somewhere worth a few extra nights: pick the country from our destinations, or start from one of the land journeys we already run and tell us where the ship should meet it.
