When to go, month by month
Every destination we sell against every month of the year, with the reason we pick each month. A marked month is one we would send you in.
Seasons are patterns, not schedules. The rains arrive when they arrive and the herds follow the grass, so use the table to narrow things down, then ask us about the fortnight you actually have.

Best months are our own judgement from years of sending people, not a climate dataset. Nothing on this page is a temperature, a rainfall figure or a river-crossing date. We will not publish those for a given week because we cannot stand behind them.
Prices move with the seasons too: the cheapest resident rates right now shows which months are cheap in shillings, and school holidays shows which weeks fill first.
